MAJOR FUNCTIONS
Training
Organize specialized trainings on the aspects of federalism for officials and elected representatives offederal, provincial and local governments. Prepare materials to be used in training. Develop capacity of provincial training institutions and work collaboratively to reach out to sub-nationalgovernment.
Research
Conduct studies and research on different aspects of federalism and prepare knowledge-base on federalism. Study and document the initiatives taken by federal, provincial and local governments on implementation of federalism. Study and draw lessons from international practices on implementation of federalism and disseminate among stakeholders.
Consulting
Provide consulting services to federal, provincial and local governments on organization structure, public policy management, administrative and fiscal affairs.
Seminar and Conference
Organize seminar and conference for exchanging experiences and good practices of federal, provincial and local government in course of implementation of federalism.
Knowledge Centre
Manage national and international reports of research and studies, relevant documents, publications and information related to federalism and make them accessible to interested readers.
