Micro Enterprise Development for Poverty Alleviation Programs’ (MEDEP) constant effort and technical support led the Government to replicate the MEDEP model across Nepal's all 75 districts. In this Discussion Series, the speakers focused on contribution of enterprise development towards economic prosperity, Micro Enterprises Development (MEDEPA) model and its current modality in federal setting. This discussion also highlighted  the importance of institutionalizing MEDEP model through District Enterprise Development Strategic Plans and Local Governance units. 

Dr. Gopi Khanal is a Joint Secretary and National Programme Director for MicroEnterprise Development Programme (MEDEP); Dr. Lakshman Pun is a Chief Technical Advisor for MEDEP and Dr. Ramji Neupane is a National Programme Manager for MEDEP.
