The 10-day training program on Leadership and Management for Student Officers of Army Command and Staff College concluded on Poush 6,2080. The closing ceremony of the program was held yesterday and the event was chaired by Executive Director of NASC, Dr. Rajan Khanal. The distinguished guest for the program was the Commandant of Army Command and Staff College Major General Baburam Shrestha. Senior Director of Studies of NASC, Mr. Binod Kumar Bista, Chief Instructor of ACSC Brigadier General Himmat Bahadur Bista, Director of Studies of NASC Ms. Anita Poudel, Senior Instructor
Col Roj Pratap Rana and Col Saujanya Rana. Instructors from ACSC were also presented in the closing ceremony. The 10-day program focused on enhancing the leadership and managerial skills of Student Officers of the Nepali Army, Nepal Police, Armed Police Force, and Nepal Investigation Department as well as Army Officials of India, Pakistan, Maldives, Kenya, Nigeria, and the Republic of Korea.
In the closing program, Major Sabitri and Major Oscar expressed their overall observations and summary of the training sessions. They also acknowledged the training and provided insightful feedback on behalf of the participants.
Commandant Major General Shrestha expressed his gratitude towards NASC for successfully pulling off the course objectives towards generating leadership capacity, integrity, honor, and decision-making skills.
The completion certificates were handed over by Dr. Khanal to the student officers. He concluded the program with his closing remarks where he congratulated all the participants and wished them all the best for their future endeavors. He further added that the holistic learning that NASC tried to impart to the student officers will develop their knowledge, skills, and attitudes in both their professional and personal lives. At the end of the ceremony, both the institutions exchanged token of love and appreciation.
The closing ceremony was hosted by Ms. Saroja Shakya while the training program was coordinated by the Centre for Organization Development team of NASC.
