The closing ceremony of the five days Leadership Development Programme (LDP) for the newly appointed Class-I Officers of Government of Nepal was held on 6 Baisakh, 2080 at Mahakali Hall of Nepal Administrative Staff College (NASC).
Dr. Rajan Khanal, Executive Director of NASC chaired the closing event. Moreover, the closing event has the presence of the other dignitaries: Mr. Tulasi Sharan Sigdel – Departmental Head of Public Service Training Department (PSTD) and Mr. Trilochan Poudyal – Centre Chief of Centre for Induction Training (CIT). Mr. Trilochan Poudyal hosted the event in which he congratulated all the participants for successfully completing the five days leadership development programme.
As a part of the closing ceremony, Ms. Parbati Aryal on behalf of the participants thanked NASC and the program management team for the fruitful learning program. In addition, she also provided the overall feedback and suggestions of the programme.
Mr. Tulasi Sharan Sigdel congratulated all the participants. He expressed this programme has created the platform for the knowledge creation where all the participants from different field and organizations have gathered and shared their knowledge. He also expressed his expectation from the participants to become the driver of change in their new role.
Following the closing remarks of Mr. Tulasi Sharan Sigdel, there was the certification ceremony where Dr. Rajan Khanal distributed the certificate to the participants.
After the certification program, Dr. Rajan Khanal gave his closing remarks. Dr. Khanal firstly congratulated all the participants for successfully completing the five days leadership programme. He started his remarks by saying that this graduation ceremony is not the end for learning. He directed the participants to convert the knowledge and learnings of this five days program to design the effective service to the public. Lastly, Dr. Khanal congratulated all the participants and wished them for their successful tenure.
Mr. Trilochan Poudyal, Dr. Shyan Kirat Rai and Ms. Manisha Maharjan were the program management team for this five days leadership program.
