Commencement of 10 day training program on Leadership and Management for Student Officers of Army Command & Staff College

NASC is delighted to commence the 10-day training on leadership and management training as part of the Serial Number 30 Command and Staff Course for the Student Officers of Army Command and Staff College. The training program was formally started with the opening ceremony, which was chaired by the Senior Director of Studies at NASC, Mr. Trilochan Pokharel. The event was graced by the Commandant of Army Command and Staff College, Major General Baburam Shrestha. The Center Head of the Center for Organization Development and Director of Studies, Ms. Anita Poudel, Chief Instructor of Army Command and Staff College Brigadier General Himmat Bahadur Bista, and Senior Instructor R & D, Colonel Roj Pratap Rana, were the distinguished guests for the event.

As the center head of COD, Ms. Poudel briefed us about the course and how it has been designed from the inside out. She requested participants for their profound self-reflection and active participation and gave her best wish for a rewarding experience and meaningful journey during their stay at NASC.

Similarly, Major General Baburam Shrestha expressed his gratitude towards NASC for the collaboration on leadership and managerial enhancement of student officers. He further mentioned that the leadership and management training is immensely beneficial to all the student officers, as it helps us to counter the contemporary challenges that we face in our institutions.

Lastly, Senior Director of Studies, Mr. Pokharel, welcomes all the dignitaries and participants. He highlighted the significant role of security institutions in nation-building development. He further mentioned that the cross-cultural learning that the international participants will contribute to this training will be beneficial for NASC. He concluded his remarks by giving his best wishes to all the participants.

The Master of Ceremony of the event was Ms. Chandni Kayastha, and the training program is coordinated by the Center for Organization Development, Management Learning Group team.
