The 2-day long Leadership and Management Training for Student Officers of the All Arms Command and Staff Course of the Nepali Army War College has commenced on Kartik 05, 2081 at Annapurna Hall, Sampada Sadan of NASC.
In the opening ceremony, Senior Director of Studies and Department Head of the Management Learning Group, NASC, Mr. Binod Kumar Bista; the Commandant of the Nepali Army War College, Major General Mr. Harendra Pathak; the Deputy Commandant of the Nepali Army War College Brigadier General Mr. Hari Bahadur Chauhan and the Director of Studies and Center Chief of the Center for Organization Development, NASC, Ms. Anita Poudel were present as distinguished dignitaries along with the faculties of Nepali Army War College and NASC. Mr. Krishna Bahadur Thapa hosted the formal program.
In the welcome remarks, Ms. Poudel welcomed the student officers and provided a brief overview of the course and the sessions included in the training program. Similarly, Major General Mr. Pathak highlighted the importance of leadership and management training for the professional capacity building of the Nepali Army.
In the opening remarks, Mr. Bista highlighted the long partnership between the Nepal Administrative Staff College and the Nepali Army War College in the areas of capacity development. He emphasized that this training program is designed to develop the participants' leadership and management qualities, empowering them to take initiative, drive change through innovative thinking, and demonstrate intelligence across diverse areas essential for transformation. He concluded by wishing the student officers all the best and encouraged them to adopt a learning mindset to maximize the value of the program. The training is being coordinated by team members from the Center for Organization Development: Mr. Shailendra Prasad Bhatt and Mr. Krishna Bahadur Thapa.
