
A five days Leadership Development Programme (LDP) for the newly appointed Class-I Officers of Government of Nepal has commenced today 29th Chaitra, 2079 at Mahakali Hall of Mangal Sadan. There are 10 participants from various services of Government of Nepal (GoN).
Dr. Rajan Khanal, Executive Director of the Nepal Administrative Staff College, chaired the opening ceremony of the program. Likewise, Mr. Tulasi Sharan Sigdel, Departmental Head of Public Service Training Department (PSTD) and Mr. Trilochan Poudyal, Centre Chief of Centre for Induction Training (CIT) were present in the event. Mr. Trilochan Poudyal welcomed the participants and started the formal programme.
Mr. Tulasi Sharan Sigdel congratulated and welcomed all the participants and briefed about the 5 days programme and he emphasized about the programme objective to enhance the leadership competencies in policy decision making, its implementation along with delivering development results. Then, he requested all the participants to this take this programme as learning laboratory where everyone can learn from each other experiences.
Dr. Khanal firstly congratulated and welcomed all the participants to the program. Dr. Khanal shared the major roles and responsibilities of Class-I Officers is more related to decision making. In this regard, Dr. Khanal requested all the participants to work on the reform areas, build perfection towards their work and develop the leadership competencies. He also highlighted this programme is the refresher and a kind of preparatory programme and wished for the active participation of all the participants.
