A five-day "Training Program on Environmental and Social Safeguards" starts today at the Hotel Veranda in Itahari. Participants from three different organizations (UWSSP, PRBFRMP, and Nepal Administrative Staff College) are present in the training program. The program was chaired by CDRC Director, Mr. Binod Kumar Bista.

He welcomed participants and requested that everyone to extract the core knowledge and experience that the resource person has. The training program includes contents like Environmental and Social Safeguards Policy and Principles, Social Risk Assessment, Environmental Monitoring, Policy Gaps between GoN and ADB, Inventory of Losses, Identification of Affected Personas and DMS, and Reporting Mechanisms. The training program will end on March 23, 2023. The program is being managed by Mr. Shiva Hari Adhikari and Mr. Shashi Shekhar Acharya.
