Half day seminar on “Inter-governmental Relation: Political, Administrative and Fiscal Issues in Australian Federalism

Center for Federalism Studies (CFS) organized a half day seminar on “Inter-governmental Relation: Political, Administrative and Fiscal Issues in Australian Federalism”. The speakers were John Warhurst, Emeritus Professor of Political Science at Australian National University and Juddha Bahadur Gurung, expert on natural resource management and environment senior tourism consultant and honorable member of National Natural Resources and Fiscal Commission (NNRFC). Senior Director and CFS chief, Tulasi Sharan Sigdel hosted the seminar program. He welcomed the speaker and participants to the seminar program. He also welcomed Deputy Executive Director, Bishnu Prasad Lamsal to moderate the program. The first speaker John Warhurst presented about the practices of federalism in Australia, which has been existing for a period of 123 years. Honorable Juddha Bahadur Gurung presented on the explorative method of identification and utilization of natural resources in federal context of Nepal. Executive Director, Dr. Rajan Khanal presented token of love from NASC to the respective speakers. Moderator, Bishnu Prasad Lamsal conveyed vote of thanks to participants and delegated speakers and closed the program.
