The 77th edition of NASC Discussion Series was organized by Center for Research and Development on 30th Baisakh, 2080 on the topic “Prospects of Civil Service in Nepal”. Mr. Umesh Prasad Mainali was the speaker in the series.  Mr. Mainali is the former chairperson of Public Service Commission. He has 32 years of experience in Civil Service. He has served as a Secretary for different ministries of the Government of Nepal. He has also served as the Convener of Homeless People’s Problem Solving Committee, the Chairperson of Administration Management and Development Centre(CAMAD), Liberty Education Foundation of Nepal(LEFON) and Nepal Nagarik Samaj (NENAS). Mr. Bishnu Prasad Lamsal, Deputy Executive Director of NASC moderated the event. The event was attended by Basic Administration Training (BAT) participants from three groups and other faculties of NASC.
