Nepal Administrative Staff College (NASC) started the five days Managerial and Administrative Skills (MAS) Training to the newly recruited gazetted class III officers of Government of Nepal from the Nepal Justice Service in virtual mode from 2078/11/02, Monday. The opening ceremony of the program was organized in virtual mode using the Zoom platform. All the participants were communicated for the online registration. Among 114 newly recruited participants, all the participants registered through an online form and were present in the opening ceremony. Executive Director of NASC, Dr. Rajan Khanal, chaired the opening program, and Dr. Shyan Kirat Rai, Deputy Director of Studies, hosted the program. The other dignitaries present in the program were Deputy Executive Director, NASC, Mr. Bishnu Prasad Lamsal, Senior Directors Mr. Basanta Raj Sidel, Mr. Tulasi Sharan Sigdel, Mr. Trilochan Pokharel, Director Mr. Trilochan Poudyal and faculties of NASC.
Dr. Rai welcomed all the participants and welcomed Center Chief, Mr. Trilochan Poudyal for a welcome speech. Mr. Poudyal welcomed the participants and briefed them about the five days training program and its impact on their upcoming professional life. Dr. Rai then welcomed Department Chief and Senior Director Mr. Tulasi Sharan Sigdel for his welcome speech. Mr. Sigdel welcomed and congratulated the participants and asked them to get ready for supporting the justice sector of Nepal so that people will enjoy a better scenario of law and justice. Then Dr. Rai welcomed Executive Director, Dr. Rajan Khanal to formally open the program and give instructions to the participants. Dr. Khanal congratulated and welcomed the participants in the virtual mode, which has become a way of learning since two years of the pandemic. He also asked the participants for active participation so that NASC can learn from their learning. He then formally opened the program.
The participants have been divided into three different groups. After the formal opening of the program, they joined their respective training groups in the online platform. The respective coordinators did the technical orientation to the participants and the formal classroom class started in the following session.
