Opening program of “Organizational Development Intervention (ODI)

Centre for Organization Development (COD), Management Learning Group (MLG) of the Nepal Administrative Staff College (NASC) has commenced a 3-day “Organizational Development Intervention (ODI)” program for Chief Administrative Officers from various Rural Municipality. The main aim of the program is to broaden the perspective of leaders in the area of organizational development intervention, and enhance their capability for progressive organizational changes in dynamic context.  The opening ceremony was held on Chaitra 27, 2080 at Kumari Hall, Sampada Sadan.

Dr. Rajan Khanal, Executive Director of NASC, chaired the opening event. 
Ms. Anita Poudel, Center chief of COD and Director of Studies, welcomed the participants and highlighted the training course and its modality. She emphasized the importance of the program in respect to the administrative competency of Local Government. Dr. Khanal, in his opening remarks, expressed commitment of NASC to make training program more effective and relevant to the current context. He also highlighted the objectives of the course and expressed his expectation from participants to make program more useful and interactive. In this foundation, he requested all the participants for their active and useful participation in learning activities. Senior Director of Studies and Department head of Management Learning Group Mr. Binod Kumar Bista and his team has designed the ODI training program for Chief Administrative Officers of Local Government. The coordinators for the training program are Mr. Shailendra Prasad Bhatt, Ms. Saroja Shakya and Ms. Chandni Kayastha. The coordinators also welcomed all the participants in the training and highlighted the course requirements along with the basic norms of the training.
