Procurement of Goods and Contract Management Training Commences at NASC

The Center for Procurement Management officially launched its "Training Programme on Procurement of Goods and Contract Management" this Monday, 2083/01/07, at the Nepal Administrative Staff College (NASC).

The opening ceremony was chaired by Mr. Tulasi Sharan Sigdel, Head of the Department for Governance Development and Management Learning Group. During his welcome address, Mr. Sigdel urged attendees to foster a collaborative environment and noted his expectation of highly interactive and practical classroom sessions.

Mr. Shiva Hari Adhikari, Chief of the Center for Procurement Management, briefed the participants on the course's strategic design. He emphasized the program's vital role in enhancing institutional efficiency and explained how the curriculum was specifically tailored to address current procurement challenges.

The cohort consists of 24 trainee officers representing various public institutions. The program aims to equip these officials with the technical expertise required for effective goods procurement and robust contract oversight.
