NASC is organizing the second batch of Advanced Course on Management and Development (ACMD) starting from 12th Shrawan 2079. There are thirty trainees who are class two or equivalent level officers representing different ministries of the Government of Nepal and public institutions. The opening ceremony was chaired by Mr Ananda Raj Dhakal, Senior Director of NASC. Mr Anil Kumar Gupta hosted the opening ceremony.
Mr Gupta welcomed the dignitary and all the participants and briefed about the ACMD course redesign process, the core competency framework, and the efforts to make the learning and content more pertinent and practical. It was followed by peer introduction of the participants which gave an opportunity to get to know the fellow classmates.
Mr Dhakal formally opened the program with his remarks on how NASC will be always working on building the capacity all the employees of Government of Nepal and the training program as the platform to do so. In his remarks, he empathized with the participants regarding their enthusiasm to participate in this training. He urged trainees to have a unique learning experience through sharing and cross learning from each other while at NASC.
This course, which is been coordinated by Mr. Anil Kumar Gupta and Ms Antovna Gyawali, will last until Asoj 7, 2079.
