The 50^th installment of Senior Executive Development Programme (SEDP) started from Shrawan 13, 2082. Center chief of Center for In-Service Training (CiST), Dr. Raghu Bista hosted the opening ceremony. He welcomed all the participants and provided the context of 50^th SEDP. Then the introduction of the participants was done where the participants shared their learning expectation from the training. They mentioned about how they can grasp techniques to enhancing their knowledge, attitude and skill to perform as a leader in the current bureaucratic scenario of Nepal. Department chief of Public Service Department, Mr. Trilochan Pokharel then welcomed the participants and briefly described about the modality of the competency based SEDP program and encouraged for the peer learning and sharing of their own experiences in the learning forum. Then Executive Director, Mr. Ram Sharan Pudasaini welcomed the participants on-behalf of NASC and mentioned SEDP as the flagship program designed to develop the senior executives of the Government of Nepal. He ensured that NASC will meet with the expectations from the senior executives and formally opened the program.
