The third group of Advanced Course on Management and Development (ACMD) for the fiscal year 2078/79 started on Shrawan 13, 2078. This course is designed for class-II officers of the Government of Nepal. There are 30 trainees representing the diverse public institutions of the country.
Mr. Binod Kumar Bista Chief of the Center for In-service Training (CIST) gave a brief introduction to organizational structure as well as the course structure for Advanced Course on Management and Development. He highlighted the importance of this training for both personal as well as professional growth and wished participants a very interactive and fruitful session and learning experience at NASC.
Mr. Bishnu Prasad Lamsal, Head of Public Service Training Department (PSTD), focused on the crucial role played by NASC as a training institute. He highlighted the aim of this course to identify efficiency and competency through various modules to create competency-based civil service and encouraged participants to utilize the opportunity to learn more knowledge, skill and for developing a positive attitude for better performance.
Mr. Bikash Neupane, a member of the Program Monitoring and Evaluation Committee (PMEC) thoroughly briefed about evaluation criteria, and Mr. Sushil Thapa, a member of the Centre for Knowledge Management and Information Technology (CKMIT) technically oriented participants about using online platforms.
