NASC started Advanced Course on Management and Development for 9th level officers of Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) in 15th Shrawan, 2079 in Mahakal Hall of Mangal Sadan. There are 24 officers from CAAN. The opening ceremony was chaired by Mr Tulasi Sharan Sigdel, Senior Director of NASC and Department head of Public Service Training Department (PSTD), Mr Binod Kumar Bista, Director of Studies and Centre head of Centre for In- service Training (CIsT), Gobinda Bhandari hosted the opening ceremony.
Mr. Bhandari requested Mr. Bista to elaborate more about the training program to the participants. He started by sharing the long relationship of NASC with CAAN for years. He informed the participants regarding this customized program as per the training need analysis that was conducted with CAAN. This training course has been prepared keeping what is required for skill and ability development of the officials in mind. He explained about different modules that are included in the program and what is to be expected from the modules. Mr. Bista highly encouraged the participants to actively communicate, participate and give feedbacks, and use this platform to optimum and justify the investment done by CAAN.
After that, Mr.Bhandari invited and requested Mr. Sigdel to officially open the training program. He welcomed all the participants to NASC. He ensured that everyone is experts in their own field, thus, two- way learning process is expected. Moreover, active questioning is highly motivated in order to escalate learning process. In the end, Mr. Sigdel officially opened the program by wishing everyone for successful completion of ACMD training.
This course, which is being coordinated by Mr. Gobinda Bhandari and Ms Smriti Pradhan, will last until Falgun 4, 2079.
