Closing Ceremony of Management Development Programme (MDP) for level 10 officers of Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN)

The closing ceremony of the Management Development Programme (MDP) for level 10 officers of Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) that commenced on 2079/02/11 was held on 2079/04/02 at Mechi Hall of Mangal Sadan. The dignitaries present in the closing program were Executive Director of NASC, Dr. Rajan Khanal, Deputy Director General of CAAN Mr. Deo Chandra Lal Karn, Deputy Executive Director Mr. Bishnu Prasad Lamsal, Senior Director of Studies Mr. Tulasi Sharan Sigdel, and Human Resource Development Chief of CAAN Mr. Suresh Prasad Kaanal.
Dr. Shyan Kirat Rai from the training management team hosted the program by welcoming all the participants and the dignitaries. Dr. Rai called upon Mr. Summat Prasad Chaudhary as a representative from the participants to provide their feedback on the training program. Mr. Chaudhary expressed the gratitude of the participants towards the program. The learning they have gained in 41 days has helped them to change their perspectives towards their new aspiring role. He expressed the importance of field visits and organizational visits that helps the participants to envision the real time problems. He mentioned the importance of understanding self through training and yoga activities have triggered them to take care of self before others. He expressed thanks on behalf of the participants towards NASC and CAAN for the program. Then Dr. Rai called upon Mr. Sigdel to congratulate the participants and explain about the training program. Mr. Sigdel explained about the formulation of the training program for the senior officials and its importance. He also stressed the need of change management and the role of the participants as a change agent in their respective divisions. Then Dr. Rai called upon DDG of CAAN, Mr. Karn to put up his thoughts on the training program. At first. Mr. Karn congratulated the participants on successfully completing the program. Then he talked about the expectation of NASC, CAAN and participants from the training program. He also mentioned that the participants are the senior officials of CAAN and soon or later, they have to put on shoes of management to perform for the betterment of CAAN. Then, Dr. Rai released the result of the training program. All the participants secured first division and Mr. Sudhir Kumar Shrestha stood top of the class. Then Dr. Rai called upon Executive Director, Dr. Khanal for certificate distribution and closing remarks of the program. Dr. Khanal distributed the certificates to the participants and congratulated the participants. Then, he mention them about the new role they are going to perform in their near future to enhance the performance of the CAAN, which is one of the front facing organization of Government of Nepal. He also mentioned that learning never stops and they have to continue the will of learning in their life ahead so that they can perform better every single day. Before formally closing the program, the participants provided a token of love to the Executive Director through the DDG of CAAN. Then, Dr. Khanal congratulated and wished for the better future days and life to everyone. Dr. Shyan Kirat Rai and Ms. Smriti Pradhan from the training management team also congratulated the participants for successful completion of the training program and beautiful future ahead.
