Commencement of the 3 days Public Financial Management Training Programme for the Officials of Department of Drug Administration (DDA) was held on 11 Jestha,2080 at The Everest Hotel in collaboration with NASC and DDA.
The programme was specifically designed and customized for the officials of DDA to strengthen their financial administration competencies.
Mr. Basanta Raj Sigdel, Senior Director of Studies (Department Head) at NASC chaired the opening event. Moreover, the opening event has the presence of the other dignitaries- Mr. Sundar Shrestha, Center Chief of Centre for Financial Management (CFM) and Mr. Trilochan Poudyal, Director of Studies. Mr. Gobinda Bhandari, Deputy Director of Studies hosted the event.
During the course briefing, Mr. Sundar Shrestha provided a comprehensive overview of the program and explained the approach adopted by NASC for customizing the course based on the training needs of the participants.
Next, Mr. Basanta Raj Sigdel delivered his opening remarks, extending a warm welcome to all the participants. He motivated them to actively contribute and make the training program meaningful and lively to achieve the training objectives. He further explained about the importance of knowledge and skill of financial management for individual and organizational performance and productivity. Additionally, he encouraged the participants to discuss the issues and problems they are facing in their workplace and interact to the resource persons to find the solution. He concluded his opening remarks by wishing all the participants to have a wonderful learning session ahead.
Mr. Gobinda Bhandari and Mr. Krishna Bahadur Thapa are the program management team for this three days Public Financial Management Training Program.
