A three-day training program on Organizational Development Intervention (ODI), designed for Chief Administrative Officers of Municipalities, commenced today(6th Asoj,2083) at Rara Hall, Nepal Administrative Staff College (NASC),.
The opening ceremony was chaired by Mr. Rajendra Adhikari and Dr. Raghu Bista. During the ceremony, Dr. Bista provided an overview of the course structure, schedule, and key components of the training program.
Mr. Adhikari highlighted the significance of Organizational Development Intervention in strengthening organizational effectiveness, enhancing teamwork, and improving service delivery at the local level. He encouraged participants to actively engage throughout the program and to contribute their practical experiences and perspectives to enrich the learning process.
He further emphasized that the training adopts adult learning principles, with a focus on participatory, experiential, and practice-oriented learning. The program is designed to provide participants with practical knowledge and tools that can be applied in their respective municipalities to address organizational challenges and improve institutional performance.
The training brings together Chief Administrative Officers from municipalities for three days of interactive learning, experience sharing, case discussions, and practical exploration of Organizational Development approaches.
