Nepal Administrative Staff College (NASC) submitted the Management Audit Report of BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences (BPKIHS) on 22nd Shrawan 2079. The Report was handed over by the Team Leader and Senior Director of Studies Mr. Basanta Raj Sigdel to the Vice Chancellor of the Institute, Dr. Gyanendra Giri in a program organized in the Office of the Vice Chancellor, BPKIHS Dharan. Senior executives of the Institute Professor Dr. Guru Prasad Khanal, Rector; Professor Dr. Surya Prasad Sangraula, Registrar; Dr. Jagat Narayan Prasad, Hospital Director; Dr. Indra Limbu and Dr. Lokesh Raj Jaisawal, Assistant Hospital Directors; and Mr. Gaurav Sanjel, Administrative Officer were present on the occasion. Similarly, NASC faculties and Team Members of the Management Audit Mr. Rajendra Adhikari, Mr. Pramod Niroula, and Mr. Damodar Basyal were also present on the occasion.
The Management Audit examined the corporate governance and managerial practice of the Institute, diagnosed performance gaps, and recommended future strategic imperatives for institutional reform. Mr. Sigdel shared the approaches, findings and recommendations incorporated in the Management Audit Report. Senior executives of the Institute expressed their views on the Audit results and substantiated it with their experiences and observations in the forum. Vice Chancellor Dr. Giri acknowledged the contribution of NASC in the process of management reforms of BPKIHS and expressed confidence for further support in the process of implementing the recommendations. Mr. Sigdel extended thanks to the Vice Chancellor and entire team of BPKIHS for entrusting NASC for this assignment and expressed commitments for professional support in the course of implementing the reform initiatives of BPKIHS.
