The 49th Senior Executive Development Program started from 24 Mangshir 2081. The program is participated by the 25 gazette class I or equivalent officers of Government of Nepal (GoN) working at different ministries and organizations. Executive Director Dr. Rajan Khanal chaired the opening ceremony. Department chief of Public Service Training Delivery (PSTD) Trilochan Pokharel welcomed the participants and briefly explained about the program structure and modality. He contextualized the program as executive development program where the participants have to equally participate to develop themselves. He emphasized that the program runs in participative model where the participants have to work hard to learn.
Executive Director Dr. Khanal formally welcomed the participants and requested them to complete the training program within the time frame for their development. Dr. Khanal expressed that the participants will learn from peers, coordinate and share knowledge with each other and thrive to become a better leader for enhancing service delivery of public organizations. The opening program was hosted by Dr. Raghu Bista, from the training management team. The program contains participants from heterogeneous group that encourages cross learning. The program runs for a period of six months and concludes in the 23 Jestha 2082.
