The third program of Professional Course on Management and Development (PCMD) started in the online platform from Shrawan 11, 2078. Twenty-nine class three officers nominated from various government and public agencies attended the program.
Senior Director of Studies and Department Head of Public Service Training Department (PSTD) Mr. Bishnu Prasad Lamsal was present as chief guest of the program. Deputy Director of Studies, Ms. Shailajha Upadhaya was present as a representative from Center for In-Service Training (CIsT). The coordinators of the program Dr. Shyan Kirat Rai and Mr. Nabin Chapagain welcomed the participants and started the formal program. Ms. Upadhaya welcomed the participants and briefed about the training program and course where she emphasized about the course objective to make the trainees a performing manager, which stands on the foundation of integrity and manages resources and relationships and delivers the expected results. Then Senior Director Mr. Bishnu Prasad Lamsal welcomed the participants mentioning the expectation with the participants from the program so that the final effect of the training will be seen in the service delivery to the citizens. Then Mr. Bikas Neupane from the Program monitoring and Evaluation Committee (PMEC) briefed about the marking mechanism of the training program and its various modules, and various rules to be followed by the participants during the training program. Mr. Bipin Ojha from the Centre from Knowledge Management and IT (CKMIT) did technical orientation to the participants on google meet, google classroom, and document management system for interactive sessions and online assignment submissions. The program will conclude on Ashwin 05, 2078.
