The training entitled "Communication and Decision Making Training for the Officials of Department of Drug Administration" that commenced from 11 Jestha 2080 (25 May 2023) was successfully completed on 13 Jestha, 2080 (27 May 2023). The training was organized by Centre for Human Resource Manage (CHRM), under the department 'Management Learning Group (MLG)' of Nepal Administrative Staff College, Lalitpur, Nepal. The training was designed for three working days was organized at the Everest Hotel from 1 pm to 6 pm. It was designed to enhance the competencies of the officials of Department of Drug Administration (DDA) on the areas related to official correspondence and official decision making process and such with the support from USAID MTaPS. Mr. Shailendra Prasad Bhatta and Mr. Anup Bhurtel were the coordinators of the training while coordination on behalf of USAID MTaPS was carried out by Mr. Samrat Baral. There was a total of 15 participants in the training.
The opening event was held on 11 Jestha, 2080 at 1 pm in the presence of Mr. Basanta Raj Sigdel - deparmental head, MLG and resource person Dr. Dijan Bhattarai. The program was anchored by Mr. Bhurtel. Mr. Sigdel, as the chairperson of the program provided his opening remarks with highlights on the contents of the training and the roles of official communication for a manager. Similarly, the closing event occurred at 6 pm, 13 Jestha, 2080. The event was anchored by Mr. Bhatta and Mr. Uttam Acharya, Centre Chief of CHRM was present as the key dignitary. Mr. Acharya distributed the certificates to the participants and shared his closing remarks and officially announced the completion of the training.
