The Nepal Administrative Staff College (NASC) formally inaugurated a 12-day specialized training program on the "Survey, Design, Estimate, Construction and Construction Supervision of Motorable Bridges" for Engineers of Department of Local Infrastructure (DOLID) today. The program was officially opened by Department Head Mr. Tulasi Sharan Sigdel, while Nisha Rijal, Deputy Director General of the DoLID, briefed participants on the critical importance of mastering updated codes and supervision techniques for rural infrastructure development. The opening program was also attended by distinguished guests including DoLID Senior Divisional Engineer Mr. Rakesh Raj Mishra and the Head of the Center for Project Management of NASC, Mr. Shiva Hari Adhikari. The course aims to equip civil engineers with the advanced technical skills required for the rigorous design, pile foundation procedures, and quality control of bridge projects across the country.
