Capacity Development Resource Center (CDRC) conducts one day workshop entitled “Mainstreaming Gender Equality and Social Inclusion in ADB Assisted Projects: Actions for Effective" for the Project Directors/Deputy Project Directors of ADB Assisted Projects .
More than 25 participants from different 19 projects are present in the workshop. GESI Concepts and Frameworks, Policy Mandates and Institutional Mechanisms for GESI; GESI mainstreaming in ADB operations and future direction; and GESI Action Plan Implementation in Nepal Portfolio: Status and Challenges are discussed in the workshop.
Mr. Francesco Tornieri, Principal Social Development Specialist, SARD, ADB; Chhaya Jha, GESI Expert Consultant; Shuvechha Khadka, Senior Social Development Officer, ADB are the facilitators of the workshop. Dr. Surya Praksh Shrestha, ADB TA Team Leader; Ms. Lachhana Shresthacharya and Ms. Renuka Gurung are also present in the program.
