The certification and closing ceremony of Advanced Course on Management and Development (ACMD) for the fifth batch was held on 2079/11/11. The event was chaired by Executive Director Dr. Rajan Khanal. Other dignitaries present during the closing session were Deputy Executive Director Mr. Bishnu Prasad Lamsal and Senior Director of Studies Mr. Tulasi Sharan Sigdel. The event was hosted by Mr. Shiva Hari Adhikari.
Mr. Bishwaroop Dahal shared his training experience on behalf of all the participants. He expressed that modules like Know Your Economy (KYE), Public Service Innovation (PSI) and Connecting to Community (C2C) of the training program were very useful in translating theoretical knowledge into practical knowledge and helpful in linking service delivery with the economy of the nation. Mr. Sigdel congratulated all the participants for successful completion of the training. He reiterated the objectives of the course and shared the focus areas of ACMD. He highlighted the importance of team work and requested all participants to initiate a small innovation within their jurisdiction.
Later on, Dr. Khanal distributed certificates to all the 28 participants. Meanwhile, Mr. Lamsal announced the name of the batch topper and congratulated all the participants for their successful completion of the training program with the first division. Ms. Neeta Sapkota secured the first position among all the participants of ACMD 5th Batch.
At the end of graduation ceremony, Dr. Khanal congratulated the participants and wished them better professional career. He expressed that capability of service providers to anticipate and ability to think from service receivers’ perspective will lead towards innovation in service design and delivery. The ACMD Fifth batch was managed by Mr. Shiva Hari Adhikari and Mr. Lila Nath Sapkota.
