The 4 days Knowledge Enhancement Training for the Officials of One Stop Service Centre (OSSC), Department of Industry commenced today ( Baisakh 06, 2079) with a formal inauguration ceremony that was chaired by Executive Director of NASC Dr. Rajan Khanal. The event was also graced by Secretary of Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supply, Dr. Toya Narayan Gyawali and Former Secretary Ms. Yam Kumari Khatiwoda along with Director General of Department of Industry, Mr. Ram Chandra Tiwari and Director of Studies of NASC, Mr. Binod Kumar Bista. Training Coordinators Mr. Tara Prasad Kharel and Ms. Chandni Kayastha welcomed the participants and dignitaries. Mr. Kharel formally started the opening ceremony and invited DG Mr. Tiwari for his remarks. In his remarks, he requested participants to be interactive enough to gain as much knowledge as they can relate to investment as it will strengthen the OSSC service. Secretary Dr. Gyawali further clarify the importance of knowledge enhancement training in the betterment of OSSC as it will give a specified knowledge on issues like money laundering, investment environment and investment promotion and regulation. Finally, ED of Nepal Administrative Staff College, Dr. Khanal concluded the opening ceremony with his opening remarks. He mentioned that this kind of training should be in a frequent manner as our concerned officials are required to be up to date with the investment policies, regulations and national and international issues. He further added that investment is one of the best solutions to acquire capital for a nation's development so we must promote national as well foreign investment as much as possible. At last, he gave his best wishes to all the participants for the successful completion of the programme.
