Training Programme on Financial Management for Non-Financial Managers commenced on 2080/05/11, Monday at Nepal Administrative Staff College, Jawalakhel, Lalitpur. The objective of the programme is to orient and acquaint managers with the fundamentals of financial management, thereby enhancing the managers’ capabilities in managing the financial matters of their respective organizations. Thirty trainee officers from 11 different public institutions are participating in the programme. The opening ceremony was chaired by Ms. Anita Poudel, Chief of the Centre for Public Financial Management and Center for Organizational Development. The opening ceremony was hosted by Mr. Shailendra Prasad Bhatt. Ms. Anita Poudel welcomed the participants and highlighted the course contents, course objectives and expressed her expectation from participants to make classroom sessions more useful and interactive.
