Management Development Programme for Senior ( Level 10 and 11) Officers of Rastriya Banijya Bank Limited (RBBL) started from Ashoj 05, 2079 (21 September, 2022). The dignitaries present were Dr. Rajan Khanal, Executive Director of NASC, Mr. Kiran Kumar Shrestha, CEO of RBBL, Mr. Tulasi Sharan Sigdel, Senior Director of Studies, Ms. Saraswati Adhikari, Deputy CEO of RBBL and Mr. Binod Kumar Bista, Director of Studies. Thirty-three senior officers from RBBL are participating in the program. Mr. Trilochan Poudyal from training coordination team hosted the opening ceremony. He welcomed the participants and dignitaries of the program and invited Mr. Tulasi Sharan Sigdel to welcome and brief about the program. 
Mr. Sigdel welcomed the participants, elaborated about the training program, and explained how the course was designed for 30 working days. He mentioned that NASC has customized the program as per the requirement of RBBL. He explained about the four major modules that are included in the course. Furthermore, he briefed about the modules to help the participants understand what they were about and how they can help in their development. He also encouraged everyone towards active participation throughout the training to enhance the learning process. Additionally, he encouraged for horizontal growth of the participants through the training program including the vertical one. In the end, he requested the participants to be participative and active in the learning process.
Then Mr. Poudyal called upon CEO, Mr. Shrestha to put up the points of encouragements to the participants. He welcomed and congratulated the participants being selected for the program. He mentioned the current scenario and status of the banking sector and RBBL. He also mentioned the need of skills and attitude to perform in the senior level of the bank. He also focused on the need of understanding and implementation of new technology in the field of banking. At last he thanked NASC for conducting the training program and requested the participants to wholly present in the training program.
Then Mr. Poudyal called upon Executive Director, Dr. Khanal to formally open the program and conclude the opening ceremony. He encouraged the participants to share their experiences and examples in the class to help understand the industry and approaches towards improvement. He also suggested the participants to try to understand the public perception towards banking sector service of Nepal. Furthermore, he highly encouraged everyone to ask as many questions as possible to broaden the horizon of knowledge and understanding, which will ultimately lead to betterment of the personal and professional life, through initiations and innovation. Dr. Khanal mentioned the program is an executive development program where the participation and sharing should be the encouraged and practiced.
Finally, Dr. Khanl welcomed the participants and announced official opening of Management Development Programme. Mr.Trilochan Poudyal and Dr. Shyan Kirat Rai are the coordinators of the program. The program will end in Mangshir 02, 2079.
