Professional Course on Management and Development (PCMD) for the officers of Nepal Water Supply Corporation (NWSC) is commenced on 20th Ashwin, 2077. On the first day, the formal opening session and technical orientation were scheduled to familiarise the participants with the course and virtual platform.
The program was formally innagurated with opening remarks by Deputy Executive Director, Senior Director, and Department Head of Pubic Service Training Department (PSTD) of the organization Mr. Narayan Gopal Malego stating "Learning never stops and it is a continuous process." The course introduction was done by Director of Studies and center chief of the Centre for In-Service Training (CIST) Mr. Basanta Raj Sigdel. Director of Studies Ms. Achala Dahal, on behalf of Programme Monitoring and Evaluation Committee (PMEC), explained about the evaluation criteia and the codes the participants have to follow during the training session. Mr. Sushil Thapa and Mr. Bipin Ojha from Centre for Knowledge Management and Information Technology (CKMIT) did a technical orientation session.
The training will conclude on 22nd of Mangsir 2077. 17 officers from NWSC are participating in the trainings from differnet branches of the corporation. The program is designed to enhance the professional and individual skills of the participants. Ms. Chandni Kayastha and Mr. Bipin Ojha are co-ordinating the training program.
Nepal Administrative Staff College (NASC) has been conducting all of its training programs on virtual platform after the COVID-19 cases started in the country.
