44th Senior Executive Development Programme (SEDP) participants visited four different organizations today to hand over the strategic plan they prepared for the public organizations.

As a part of the learning process in "Strategic Management" module of the SEDP, participants were divided into five different groups and given one public organization each to study and prepare a strategic plan for that particular organization.

The selected five public organizations were Dairy Development Corporation (DDC), Department of Industry (DoI), National Tea and Coffee Development Board, Mental Hospital and Bhaktapur Municipality.

Participants in the group worked rigorously to study the external and internal environment, strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of the organization to prepare the report for the respective organizations.

Among the five organizations, participants along with NASC faculties visited four organizations today to hand over the final strategic plan to the executive head of the corresponding organization.

During the handover program, participants and faculties explained the background of the study and expressed their belief that the report will help the organization to progress in the coming years.

After receiving the report, the executive heads of all four organizations acknowledged the report and thanked SEDP participants & NASC faculties for choosing their organization; and for their meticulous effort to prepare the strategic plan for their organization.

They assured that the report will certainly help them as a base to move forward. Some of the organization heads also said that they were willing to prepare a strategic plan but couldn't do due to various reasons, so in this context, they expressed their gratitude and believed the report will certainly help them to move ahead in the right direction.

The fifth group is scheduled to present their report to their studied organization on the 25th of Falgun.

25 class-I officers (Joint-Secretary) of the Government of Nepal are involved in the 44th edition of SEDP, which was started on Bhadra 23 and is scheduled to end on Chaitra 02.
