Lalitpur, Shrawan 2, 2082 — A comprehensive two-day Strategic Executive Development Program (SEDP) Review and Planning Workshop was conducted on Shrawan 2 and 3 at View Bhrikuti Hotel, Godawari. The event brought together members from the training management team, module coordinators, and coordinators from Nepal Administrative Staff College to reflect on past sessions and plan for upcoming batches.
The workshop began with a formal overview of SEDP in the Bhrikuti Hall, followed by an engaging context setting session on the program’s design principles and objectives led by Mr. Trilochan Pokharel. The Executive Director shared expectations from the workshop, while Dr. Raghu Bista presented reflections from the Training Management Team on the 48th and 49th SEDP batches.
The afternoon focused on modular team reflections, with presentations from module coordinators: Leadership – Anita Poudel, Integrity – Shiva Hari Adhikari, Strategic Management – Achala Dahal, Governance – Trilochan Poudyal and Policy Management – Rajendra Adhikari.
Each coordinator highlighted content coverage, delivery approaches, and participant feedback. The day concluded with a first-day reflection by the Executive Director, followed by an evening refreshment and dinner.
On the second day, discussions focused on planning for the 50th and 51st SEDP batches and mission 52nd SEDP. Participants engaged in modular exercises on refining content, delivery techniques, and team formation. A peer feedback session allowed module leads to present proposed improvements.
The workshop ended with a consolidation session led by Mr. Pokharel, followed by closing reflections from the Executive Director. The event successfully set the course for further enhancement of the SEDP, reinforcing its mission to aiming higher and strengthen executive leadership in public administration .
