Nepal Administrative Staff College (NASC) conducted a one-day strategic planning workshop on Friday, October 29th for formulating its next five-year strategic plan.
Before the beginning of the workshop, Senior Director of Studies Mr Basanta Raj Sigdel shared a brief description of the last five-year strategic plan and strategic issues. Likewise, Executive Director Dr Rajan Khanal emphasised the importance of group work and participation of all employees in making strategies for the organization.
The workshop included all employees of NASC and was divided into four groups for discussion. Each group were given different topics: Training, Research, Consulting and Innovation. Staff worked the whole day rigorously in groups to discuss the given topic and came up with their ideas to share in the presentation session, which happened later the same day.
The presentation was followed by a note from Senior Director of Studies Mr Trilochan Pokharel. He expressed his overwhelmedness by the discussion and the ideas staff presented. He also shared his views regarding the pathway of NASC for the next five years.
The program ended with the closing remarks from the executive director Dr Khanal.
