Senior Executive Development Programme (SEDP) participants visited E-Governance Board to understand how the Government of Nepal is trying to innovate public service delivery through the use of Information Technology. Mr. Dipesh Bista shared the vision and work progress of the board, where he mentioned the importance and role of Joint Secretaries to move in the path of digital governance. Secretary Mr. Gobinda Bahadur Karkee, leading the Governance Affair Sector in the Office of Prime Minister and Council of Ministers also shared the situation and need of Digital Governance after the GenZ Revolution. The participants inquired about the context of security, human resource, infrastructure and institutional readiness towards the concept of data exchange platform to support the Digital Governance.
In the second class Mr. Subash Sharma, Director form F1 Soft shared the idea of service innovation and journey of e-Sewa to understand the ingredients necessary to innovate service.
